There’s this glitch that doesn’t let your character move after combat rounds :( can this be fixed please

Audio is not working for me on iPhone13

The game is honestly starting to break more sometimes after fighting I can’t even move my character saving closing the game and opening will fix it but some days I would like just a simple bug fix update after 5 years

This game has been in my life for a long time, it’s great to know I can revisit it whenever from the palm of my hand. Of course some of the controls are janky but it’s not optimized for the phone and it’s an older game anyway and had the same jank when it came out. Lots of fun, great story, when you beat this there’s even a book about the main character you can read after the events here.

The game runs well and brings back all that nostalgia from playing this game for the first time, but with a little more polish, it has its quirks when you try to use it from your phone without a control controller, but once you connect a controller to it experience gets much better.

Buggy game. Main character frequently cannot be freely moved around until entering an area that causes a loading screen. Only option is to switch characters or reboot.

The app is just zoomed in on the bottom left portion of the screen. It’s unplayable on phones, which it didn’t used to be. I played it on my phone when I first DLed it and they screwed it up in an update.

This game is extremely glitchy and laggy on my iPhone 14, to the point where it is basically unplayable.

This game has a good story, (not as good as Kotor II but it’s not as depressing or serious) a good cast (although I would prefer more evil companions, HK-47 and Canderous were the only true evil companions. In Kotor II, we also have Hanharr, G0-t0, and Visas), and has good lore. However, the graphics are PS2 at best, terrible combat mechanics, and the game doesn’t explain the skills at first that it’s pretty hard for first timers. Voice acting was good, not perfect, and I think Mission was the best. However, overall it’s an pretty mediocre game compared to other games if you have a console or PC available as graphics and especially combat are seriously outdated.

I paid for the game and cannot play the title screen makes it unable to play the game… how do I get a refund for this game I can’t be played

Love the game as I always have! But phone volume max, game volume max and Bluetooth off I get zero sound.

The game is great and worth every penny. My only complaint is that there is no graphical options, so users are currently stuck with sub-native rendering resolution. This was initially released for IOS over 10 years ago, so modern phones should be able to run at native resolution without any issue.

Give us the option to have a joystick on screen because your fingers take up half the screen retail space for movement anyways. Allow iOS to pitch the camera up and down like the original. Make the/all combat buttons larger and fix the glitch that doesn’t pause the game when an enemy is sighted. It’s weird to me that the touch controls are wholly inconsistent and wonky. It’s also hilarious that I cannot move the cannon and fire the lasers at the same time during the shooting mini games, you must lead the fighter, stop, and tap to shoot, hopefully hitting your target. Great game. Terrible port. Game is broken, racing is broken. Why? Seriously, any tester would’ve suggested alternate controls. This game was never even tested on the phone. Developer is a literal shill.

Glitch in the game during the quest where u work with the hidden beks on Taris where suddenly u won’t be able to talk to anyone, companions or npcs, which soft lock u into being unable to progress in the game, plz fix

The app as it is today (10/14/24) is unplayable. There’s a well known and well documented issue with the IOS app where the character can’t move after battles and after some key dialogues. The only fix is saving, crashing the app and relaunching. Until the devs address this, this game should NOT be purchased. It shouldn’t even be available on the App Store with a game-breaking bug of this nature. Devs, please address!

This might be one of the best RPGs I have ever played. I have played this game all the way through so many times I’ve lost count on my computer and other devices. It’s one of my all time favorites. So I thought it was a no brainer to download to my iPad. However, it has been incredibly frustrating to play. The main character will quickly lose the ability to move each time I begin. The only fix is to save and restart the game. It’s almost unplayable. Please update!

All the people calling it a glitchy game- what the #### do you expect from a game from 2001. I personally haven’t had any glitches on my old iPhone 7 and my new iPhone 15 pro max. This game runs smoothly and only has a few glitches and buggy soft-locking moments.

It’s the same amazing, pretty much perfect, Star Wars KOTOR. The controls are good, but you can’t turn and move at the same time, unfortunately because using both hands to try causes the character to stop moving. I feel like that should be possible. A bug I find is fairly common is that certain sounds or voice lines get repeated in the small interactions with others. Like, maybe you get ambushed, someone says something after you help them, or you intervene in a mugging, the voice line or sound gets repeated if you leave and pass through again, at least until you have a load screen. Sometimes it repeats frequently and can get quite annoying. Overall, it’s still well worth your money. Just buy it, and may the force be with you.

I use to love playing this game but, I stopped playing for a while and I come back and when I try to load up KOTOR there’s a display glitch. I don’t know if it’s because of my phone (I have an iPhone 11) but please fix this. I Love this game.

The game itself is great--a classic, but if you are using a bluetooth controller (I have tried the 8bitDO, a PS4 controller, AND a PS5 dualsense, it will randomly just stop letting you move your character. You will just stand there like a goofus. You can still pause, and look at your inventory, but you can't move. at all. Until you shut the game down and turn it back on. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, checked my iOS version, made sure everything was updated, unpaired and repaired my controllers, but it keeps happening.

It is well optimized for mobile, but has so many glitches. As expected, it can also be awkward to move and select objects also. Still it is KOTOR and I would personally buy it again. I just wish there weren’t so many infuriating combat problems etc. EDIT: After continuing to play, I keep to find bugs. It is frustrating. I’m too big of a KOTOR fan to stop, but it is frustrating and I have also lost some progress. It is ridiculous sometimes to select what you want, especially in crowded fighting, so you just end up not being able to initiate a move and enter dialogue, which is stupid. Combat is also generally frustrating to choose moves. The number of times I just do random things outside of combat instead of what I want, or have to turn the view just right to find something is discouraging. Moving the crosshairs vs selecting things is also janky. Feels unintuitive and I don’t trust it anymore to know what I’m selecting. EDIT: (OMG, the way this game screws with selections is incredibly infuriating. Also swoop racing is unresponsive. I’m lowering my review. The water puzzle in the Sith base is incredibly hard to select panels. Combat also just seems to get more glitchy, not less. After playing through, it feels like a trashy port money grab. I’m still too dumb and dedicated to KOTOR to not try, but I’d never recommend it to anyone. If you’re new to this game try it on another system first. Anything but Mobile)

This game is a well know classic for good reason. If you love Star Wars,RPGs, or both then you’re in for a real treat. The game is lengthy and has a good amount of replay value. Both KOTOR 1 and two are fantastic examples of an rpg but the first one can be a bit glitchy. Aside from that, the variables in the story line make the hours worth while. That and the variables in how you’re able to build your stats and skills allow you to develop a character that is truly unique. This game was ahead of its time and I never get tired of playing it.

I beaten this game and the second one to if you a StarWars fan then this is a must have for it deep story and awesome characters.

I noticed aspyr has updated the android version numerous times fixing bugs within the past year but looks like this version has been abandoned for over 4 years. Also no update on privacy policy it’s all blank. Sus

Love the game. But it literally just started to bug out on me. When my party dies it doesn’t go back to the main menu and it will then actually save the game so the quick save feature as become pointless now.

I get it, when this game was made LGBTQ+ people were not something that could be in a popular video game, but it’s been 21 years and those people deserve to see themselves in the characters of the games they love. Would it kill you to add the step of choosing pronouns for the protagonist to character creation, or to remove the line of code that specifies that Carth only flirts with you when your character is female/you can only flirt with Bastilla if your character is male? Other than that it’s a boss game.

This is more of a complaint message but still I love this game can not get enough of it but is a review for to workers/owners. I cannot find a way to upgrade the swoop bike there is no way for me so far

Controller support is trash. Sometimes buttons just straight up don’t work. Sometimes characters in your team get locked up and you can’t move them. No exaggeration, this game is unplayable which is a shame because this game is great when it works.

Maybe the game is to old now for yall to care but I played this on my iPhone SE and it worked perfect but I just upgraded to the iPhone 12 now the display is completly off set I guess I’ll never finish my story as of now 🤷🏻‍♂️😭

Game Deserves a Part 3 💯

I redownloaded the game and the beginning font won’t load I can’t press play I’m on an iPhone 11 Pro the beginning bastilla screen shows bootom left or top right can’t even play

That make it harder with an ipad. Just take it slow, and enjoy the game. Although updates and restored content material would be great. Its out there. They finished the game in some cases.

I have played this game before and I loved it It’s supposed to be compatible with my phone and it will not work

This game is just as good when it first came out many years ago. But there’s a bug that makes it downright unplayable: You can’t move your main character. After certain events and actions (such as completing a duel on Taris), you can’t move! You have to reload your saved game to move again, and even then you might lose the ability to move right away. It’s super annoying and really takes you out of the game.

This game and the second one have a problem with saving at death so anytime I respawn i die

Kotor has been one of my favorite games for years. It is super fun great gameplay good characters. It gives a great story to pre movie lore (I have no idea why Disney took it out of the lore of Star Wars). It is a bit hard to really hard to know where to go especially to get in the black valculer base. In the end it has been one of my favorite games for a long time, thank you for reading. :)

At the beginning of the game I cannot interact with anyone after picking up the accelerator for the hidden bek. Saved and reloaded numerous time. Delete the game and reinstall, I had to start over and the same issue happens. This game is basically a demo and shouldn’t be charging people for an unplayable game.

I downloaded this game again and whenever I start it, the view is messed up. I’m like zoomed in on the lower left part of the screen and can’t navigate to settings or anything so the game is pretty much unplayable

Big fan of this game for many years, played it on iPad Mini no problem. However I now have an iPad Pro and, every time I enter combat, after the combat concludes, I can’t move the player character. I can select other characters and move them to keep the party moving, but even after doing this and running around a bit, when I switch back to “me” I can’t move except by tapping on an interactable object (causing the PC to run towards it). The only way to “fix” this is to save and then load from the save, this seems to clear the issue temporarily. Please fix this!

I have played and replayed this game numerous times over the years. I was nervous about playing it on my phone because I thought the controls would be difficult. However, it was in some ways easier than the controls on the computer. There were sometimes minor infrequent glitches in the game, but nothing that really mattered or affected the game in any way. My only wish is that I could forget the story of this game so I could play it for the first time again!

Great game but currently needs some bug fixes. Cutscenes crash, sometimes saves don’t load properly, audio is weird sometimes. Buy it on steam and get the restoration patch. It’s not worth playing here.

Can we be honest! How is this a five star? Nostalgia? I can have my favorite food from my childhood, and without changing the recipe. Apparently, the release they did for PC—they failed. Lets talk about this port now, and four years ago… iPhone X and old iPads, optimized for those devices. 2024, iPhones are able to play PC quality a.k.a the 15 lineup, and this app is not even optimized for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, it is literally a box in the middle and the controls does not work properly. Lets say what needs to be done: UPDATE!

This is truly one of, if not the best, Star Wars story out there, game or otherwise. While the graphics are a bit dated, keep in mind that this is a 21 year old game, and the amazing story and characters make up for this one hundred times over. The sheer scope of the game is astounding, with many different worlds to explore, countless side quests, and an amazing overarching story. The party members who join you are some of the best written characters in Star Wars, as is your own character, but no spoilers from me! From the start to finish, you feel as if you’re creating your own story in the Star Wars universe. I would strongly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the franchise. The first couple parts of the game are challenging, especially for first time players, but stick with it, as this is the coolest game ever created, Star Wars or otherwise. Many of the other reviews complain of bugs and other issues, but I never experienced any problems with the game. Well worth the ten dollars, I would pay one hundred for this masterpiece.

Love this game, but I’ve been hit with a glitch that has totally ruined it for me. When abducted by the leviathan, a glitch happened where screen went black after the ship capturing cutscene, then when i exit the app and go back, I’m in the ebon hawk, and everyone else is all just standing around the table, and you can’t leave the ship or travel to any other planets. So essentially, the game is done for me, and I don’t really want to restart it in hopes that it won’t happen again. I keep loading it back to old saves but it always ends up happening.

No apple music/audio support. I really hate the in game audio. So i use apple music, but that gets cut off from the game.
